Have you discovered your ‘hair-onality’?

Your hairstyle needs some resolutions as we enter a new season in our lives. Just as our personalities evolve with everyday life circumstances, so does our hair.

Hair Styling: Hair changes can be very subtle or very extreme and can be accomplished with new haircutting techniques such as disconnection or cut outs, allowing for softer looks and increasing volume especially in fine hair. The use of cutout patterns also can be advantageous in decreasing volume in thick hair as well. Creating volume in the crown can be easily accomplished through the use of cut outs while still allowing for a long length.

Weekly blow drys are becoming more in demand as hair finishing with professional tools enable your hairstyle to last longer, keeping the hair healthy and shiny.

Natural wavy hair can be enhanced with misting your hair with sea salt spray and twisting sections around your finger to create a rope then use a diffuser to dry.

Straight hair can have added volume by using a round bora bristle brush with ionic fibers which also adds shine to the hair.

Curly hair needs to be moisturized once a week which helps to control frizz. Add mousse to the hair when wet and let sit for 10 minutes before using a diffuser. Adding one or two layers breaks up the heaviness in the hair.

Hair Color: No longer stripes or chunks but more subtle and dimensional. Goldwell Hair Color is translucent, low ammonia and conditioning to your hair. This New Year brings in dimensions of toffee, caramel and ginger tones creating state of the art hair color with an edge of freshness and seasonality. Hair color is anti-aging and is part of the hair-onality process. Warmer shades of hair color help to balance out your cool frosty feelings and create a more harmonious balance in your seasonal hairstyle and look.
