Almost since the beginning of time women have sought out ways to improve their looks and maintain their beauty. In this day and age, with more women experiencing hair loss and thinning, it seems to be more important to them than ever.

A woman’s hair is her crowning glory. It is attached to more than just her scalp; it is connected to her self-confidence and emotions, which affect her life daily. When hair begins to shed and fall out it can be absolutely devastating for most women.

Hair loss no longer has to be accepted. At Transitions Hair Solutions we are dedicated to helping women find a personalized solution for their hair loss. We do not believe in a “one size fits all” solution. Every woman is unique as is her hair loss and how it affects her lifestyle. This is why we offer many different non- surgical hair replacement options for women.

Camouflaging Solutions: Camouflaging options are not permanent and can be washed off daily, similar to how women may use make up daily. Examples are: Alopecia Masking Cream, a tinted cream that is applied to the thin areas at the scalp to mask hair loss or thinning areas. Keratin Hair Building Fibers, colored organic fibers made of keratin shaken onto hair loss or thinning area, to fill out the existing hair.

Topical Treatments/Nutritional Supplements: Hair loss treatment programs consist of a multi-therapeutic approach with products for good scalp hygiene, good hair nutrition and blocking DHT (a common cause of hair loss). They have also been found to be even more effective when combined with Laser Hair Therapy.

Laser Hair Therapy: (LHT) a non-surgical scientific approach in the cosmetic treatment of hair loss, thinning hair and some scalp problems. LHT has been tested for effectiveness and safety for 30 years all around the world. Several devices have now been cleared by the US FDA.
Hair Extensions: Extensions can be used for fullness and/or length. They come in various types and sizes. There are also multiple attachment methods depending on the areas of the head they will be placed and the amount of thinning or loss in those areas.

Integration Hair Systems, Duplication/Enhancement Pieces and Wigs/Full Cranial Prostheses: All have the ability to simulate a true natural appearance while offering a significant increase in overall density.

With hair loss and thinning hair on the rise, many more women are looking for solutions. We are helping them make quality educated choices that will suit their individual needs.
